This heartwarming chapter book presents wonderful characters and extraordinary plot-lines that keep you wondering 'What happens next?'. That said, it does start off a little slow, so might be difficult for readers with short attention spans. Overall, this is a wonderful book with a valuable message.

CONS Starts out a little slowly


Emotional Intensity 3/5 Upsetting destruction in park after storm, homeless animals. Dog doesn't know if friend is alive.
