The Ottoline series by Chris Riddell is funny, engaging, and really good. The books are about a girl named Ottoline who lives with a little hairy creature named Mr Munroe. Mr Munroe is Ottoline’s best friend and they go on many exciting adventures together. Along with adventures and humour, this book deals with the fact that Ottoline’s parents are always away and some other more serious topics very well. There are wonderful illustrations to go with the story and usually little gifts for the reader stuck into the books suck as stickers or postcards.

I think that this is a wonderful book that everyone should read, no matter what their age. Even though I am fifteen now, rereading this has been very entertaining.
